Following the dramatic price increase of over 110% from the 1st May 2008 made by the Pakistan Telecommunications Authority (www.pta.gov.pk), all calls made from landlines and mobiles in the UK to Pakistan will be affected.

O2 has recently announced changes in their charging policy for calls to 0844 and 0870 on all tariff plans as of 28th September 2007 onwards. O2’s website (www.o2.co.uk/specialnumbers) also indicates customers with contracts signed before 27th April 2007 will now be charged 20p a minute
